News story headline from this morning:

Grammys Will Stage 3-D Tribute To Michael Jackson

Is it JUST me or can we say enough already?!? The world turned on him when his "oddities" regarding children became public; however, since his death he's been regarded as a Saint, the King of Pop, etc., etc. Again, ENOUGH ALREADY! Just my opinion.

I wholeheartedly agree! Too much! Now I see that his brothers have some reality show, which it looks like is just about being his brothers. Haven't seen it and don't plan to.

I understand their loss, and would not attempt to diminish his contribution to the music industry, but he was a very troubled person (obviously - if one needs anesthesia to sleep, there are problems) and certainly no saint.

A fanatic is a person who can't change his mind, and won't change the subject. -Winston Churchill

Michael Jackson certainly was on top of the music world when his extraordinary album Thriller and its music videos came out. The huge money from that enabled him to morph into the mutant life form globally known as Wacko Jacko. WJ's efforts to be the greatest of all time were evidenced by his buying all the music rights of the Beatles' songs even outbidding Paul McCartney who WJ even did a song with. Conquering the Beatles WJ's next fixation was Elvis. No opportunity to buy out the rights to Elvis' songs so the next best thing was to con Elvis' daughter to marry him. Despite Michael Jackson being a musical prodigy he had a horrible childhood. His parents are still around to suck up the money.
